Kuusamo region has been planning to found Nature Academy for a long time. We Adventure Apes were astonished when we were invited to join. Nature Academy is a network of educational institutions and nature travel companies providing courses and education based on nature in the Kuusamo region and all over Finland. The long term goal is to create international research and innovation center and the founders are now looking for investors. In addition, the aim is to create new jobs in the region.
Nature Academy is a network of organizations that offer educational services connected to nature and outdoor activities across Finland. It runs courses and training programs on topics like winter hiking, wilderness skills, nature photography, safety, and wellbeing in nature. By bringing together practitioners, guides, and educators, Nature Academy aims to elevate the quality and reach of nature-based learning.
