Why Sustainable Travel Finland label truly matter to us?
Briefly: It validates our work towards sustainability, it needs to be renewed regularly and it can’t be acquired without dedication.
Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) is a programme developed by Visit Finland to help tourism businesses and destinations in Finland adopt sustainable practices. It offers participants a 7-step development path designed around internationally aligned criteria and supported by a digital toolkit and coaching.
Once a business or destination successfully completes the path, they receive the STF label, which must be renewed approximately every two years. This ensures continued improvement and compliance as standards evolve. Label holders gain access to marketing support, visibility via Visit Finland’s channels, and ongoing development resources.
