Finnish travel and education stakeholders are organizing a familiarization trip (fam trip) for principals and decision-makers of private schools in India’s largest cities. The goal is to introduce Finnish school camp programs and destination sites to those who decide where their students’ excursions will take place.
During the trip, the hosts will present a range of camp curricula, outdoor learning experiences, and nature-based programs offered across Finland. The idea is to give Indian educators first-hand insight into Finnish outdoor pedagogy, environmental education, and the logistical possibilities for international school groups.
By facilitating direct exposure and dialogue with Finnish camp operators, this initiative aims to build partnerships and increase inbound school travel from India. It’s also an opportunity to expand Finland’s educational tourism footprint abroad.
